Some of my intervention areas:

Self-Esteem & Confidence

The way we view ourselves is key to all our relationships, interactions, and, most significantly, to our lives. While self-love is easy to talk about, the internal work of building self-worth is crucial. Exploring your feelings about yourself, and the way you express them through verbal and non-verbal behaviour, will consent you understand why expressing your needs might be harder for you than for someone very confident. During the therapeutic relationship, building awareness and being present “here and now” in body-mind connection will allow you to navigate this vital emotional aspect.

Emotional isolation

Despite daily interactions, emotional isolation is a common experience, above all for immigrants and refugees. After a move to a new community or a new country, you may feel alienated and misplaced. You may also encounter job discrimination and other forms of prejudice. Through the process of understanding the culture differences, sharing your experiences in the therapeutic setting, you can enhance some effective communication skills, and express your thoughts clearly and receive feedback assertively.

Stress and Anxiety

Anxiety is an intensified psychological and physiological reaction to environmental stressors, and involves circumstances that overwhelm a person’s coping abilities. Certain anxieties stem from overthinking and magnification, but others are automatic reactions to the triggering event. Building your own set of coping skills through self-awareness will strengthen your ability to manage anxiety consistently and gradually change anxious responses.

Relationship issues

Rebuilding bridges between you and your partner involves working on emotional processing and sharing. I can assist as an impartial mediator, helping you identify blind spots and guiding you towards clarity, kindness, and realignment.

Life Transitions

Life transitions are challenging. They often push us to our limits and often create a sense of uncertainty and even fear. Whether you are starting a new job, moving to a new city or country, going through a relationship change, you may need support in navigating that transition as smoothly as possible.
